The extension should be be loaded at all on the main page. It seems the URL filter was not precise enough loading the extension on every forgeofempires.com URL that includes the keyword “game”.
This will be corrected in the next update.
In the meantime if you need to read the rules or experiencing other display problems on the main page disable the extension in the chrome extension settings (or Firefox Addons)
