Thank you for the responses and for looking further into this. I want to make it clear that I’m in no way harping on FoE Helper’s developers for the tool(s) that they’ve provided. I actually think that InnoGames should hire the lot to be making these quality of life changes for the game itself. I’m finding it very frustrating, though, that I’m being told that I was banned for using a 3rd-party application that provided an unfair advantage, that processed data and then gathered it into the game, and that completely automated calculation. Ultimately, I am, indeed, “responsible for the extensions that I use.” That InnoGames refuses to answer simple yes or no questions to confirm legality isn’t helpful at all. Regardless of whether it’s automatically calculated or not, it seems odd to me, though, that they will ban users simply for processing data that is sent to their browsers. I suppose that it could be argued that it does provide an unfair advantage, but the browser version and mobile version are already different enough that each one has its own advantages. In the case of my ban, it was never argued that I was the one performing every action made upon my account. There are no scripts or bots being used.
